Unit 3: In Motion

In this unit, we will study the physics of motion. In our study of motion we will be trying to describe, explain, and predict motion as simply and precisely as possible.

Why it is Important

1. Studying motion gives you a better understanding of how objects move.
2. Understanding motion allows you to predict when you will arrive at a location, and how long it will take you to get there.
3. This understanding of motion allows you to navigate around your community, around the world, and through outer space.

We will cover the following topics

2. Speed, Distance & Time
