Photography Course Overview

The Photography course consists of five one credit courses:
Prerequisite: Visual Composition*
*Students without the prerequisite need to talk to the teacher in order to make up the credit for this course.
This course will help the students become well rounded in the fundamentals of digital photography. Four areas of instruction will be emphasized: How cameras work, how composition works, how lighting works, how to use photo editing software.

DSLR Cameras
Students will learn to use the manual functions of a professional digital sinlge-lens reflex camera (DSLR). The school provides students with either a Canon or Nikon DSLR camera. Prior to the use of the DSLR cameras each student and their guardians need to sign a contract.
